Thefts from vehicles continue to be a problem. The Pendennis Mount area of the Eastern District has experienced an increase in theft from autos over the last month. In most cases, the vehicles were left unlocked. As a friendly reminder, please lock your vehicles and secure your valuables to help prevent theft. Never leave valuables out in the open in parked vehicles. LOCKING cars is a simple but effective way to reduce the likelihood of becoming a victim of theft. The biggest way to help prevent becoming a victim is to always lock your car and remove all valuables.

Also, keep an eye out for suspicious persons after dark and call the police department at (410) 222-8610 if you think someone is up to no good and needs to be checked out. We need your help keeping communities safe and free from these types of crimes.
