In response to the high temperatures forecasted for this week, DPR will extend outdoor swimming and spray park opportunities at various locations.
Francis (2435 N St NW) and Upshur (4300 Arkansas Ave., NW) pools will be open Monday through Friday from 3pm-8pm. The doggie day swim will continue as scheduled on Saturday. The pools will shut down for the season after that event.
Oxon Run (501 Mississippi Avenue, SE) pool will be open Monday through Friday from 3pm to 8pm; also Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6pm. The pool will close for the season at 6pm Sunday, September 7th.
East Potomac (972 Ohio Drive, SW) will remain open as previously scheduled until mid October.
Finally, all spray parks will remain operational daily from 10am to 7pm. They will shut down at 7pm on Sunday, September 7th.
