NEW REPORTS OF BWP IMPERSONATORS 
Over the last few weeks the Burbank Police Department has been made aware of individuals who are impersonating Burbank Water and Power employees and calling businesses and attempting to collect funds from the business.
These individuals are informing the business that they work for Burbank Water and Power. The individual then informs the business that they are past due on their bill and unless they make a payment in the next couple of hours their water and power will be turned off. These individuals then try to convince the business employee to go to an undisclosed location and provide them their payment through fraudulent means.
HERE ARE THE ONLY WAYS A CUSTOMER CAN MAKE A BWP PAYMENT:
Pay by Mail: Burbank Water and Power, P.O. Box 631, Burbank, CA 91503-0631.
Pay in Person: Burbank Water & Power offices, 164 West Magnolia Blvd., M-F 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
