Highland-Hanford couple arrested for stolen car and possession of narcotics for sales. 
On Thursday August 28, 2014, at 05:05 AM, deputies from the Highland Station spotted a stolen vehicle on Baseline Street/ Seeley Court in the City of Highland. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and took the driver, 45-year-old Francis Sotelo, and the passenger, 34-year-old Desiree Ortega, into custody. During a search of the vehicle, deputies discovered narcotics, baggies, and currency consistent with narcotics sales.
Sotelo and Ortega were arrested for grand theft auto, possession of stolen property and possession of narcotics for sale. Both were booked at Central Detention Center in San Bernardino.
