SUBJECT OF RELEASE: Two car personal injury accident
DATE AND TIME: Friday, August 8, 2014 at approximately 3:11 P.M.
LOCATION: Greenville and Jordan Roads, Eureka Township
Deputies from the Montcalm County Sheriff’s Office where dispatched to a report of a two-car head on crash at occurred on Greenville Road near Jordan Road in Eureka Township on Friday, August 8, 2014 at approximately 3:11 P.M.
The investigation determined that a northbound 1986 Toyota Pickup driven by a nineteen year old Stanton man crossed the centerline striking a southbound 2000 Ford Windstar driven by a thirty-three year old Greenville woman head on.
The Stanton man was extricated from his vehicle by members of the Greenville Fire Department and transported to United Memorial Hospital for treatment. The Greenville woman was accompanied by her three children and they were also transported from the scene of the crash to United Memorial Hospital where they were treated for minor injuries.
Alcohol and speed were not a factor in the accident and all subjects involved were wearing their seatbelts.
Deputies were assisted at the scene by the Greenville Department of Public Safety, and Montcalm County Emergency Services.
