Advisory

US 27 Lane Closures Scheduled

From the Ohio Department of Transportation

Roadway work which will require daily flagging operations on U.S. 27, south of Chestnut Street within the City of Oxford, is going to intensify beginning Monday, Aug. 4.

Motorists should expect daily flagging operations to impact traffic from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Traffic will be maintained at all times, but motorists may experience delays. Flagging operations will continue to occur, perhaps on a daily basis, for the next several months.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming road closure and detour. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
