Cold Case Murder - Jane Doe

The Sheriff's Homicide Detail wants your help in identifying a woman who was found dead on the Pala Indian Reservation nearly 30 years ago.

On October 1, 1986, a woman's body was found along Old Temecula Road at mile marker 4.5.

Because the body was badly decomposed, the Medical Examiner was never able to determine the cause of the woman's death.

"Jane Doe" was a white female between 18 and 20-years-old. She had multiple tattoos all over her body, including a continuous series of flower-like tattoos around her left wrist. A more detailed description of "Jane Doe" can be found on a flyer included with this bulletin.

Anyone with information on the identity of "Jane Doe" is urged to call the Sheriff's Homicide Detail at (858) 974-2321.

You can also call the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477. A reward of up to $1,000 is being for information that leads to an arrest.
