RPD received several reports of a bear sighting last night in the area of Mechanic St, Main St, Silver St and the overpass area. If you see a bear call the PD. Do not approach or startle the bear. Do not feed the bear. You should place all trash containers inside and out of reach of the bear. Be careful when letting small pets out.
