Current fire conditons in the Truckee Area 
Here is a quick update of the fires in our area.
The fires on the Sierra Crest are currently being managed by the US Forest Service.
The Tinker's fire is 0.2 acre with six smoke jumpers with fire suppression.
The Silver Fire is 0.5 acre with ten smoke jumpers with fire suppression.
Sierraville Ranger District has the following events currently:
Harding Fire is 45+/- acres with suppression efforts being taken.
Elephant Fire is 25 +/- acres with a dozer line around the fire and suppression efforts being taken.
