Multiple BB Gun shooting incidents on Hilton Head Island 
The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office would like to make the public aware of incidents involving an unknown suspect who is damaging property and vehicles using what is believed to be a BB type gun.
Between July 10, 2014 and July 25, 2014, there have been 22 reports of shots fired/malicious injury to property involving both businesses and vehicles. The incidents are occurring on a daily basis and appear to be happening on an average between 1900 hours and 0800 hours (night time hours). Northern Hilton Head Island seems to be the most affected area at this time.
Residents are urged to report any suspicious activity or what sounds like shots fired in their area.
