At approximately 10:30 P.M. The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office responded to a vehicle accident that occurred on St. Helena 
At approximately 10:30 P.M. yesterday the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office responded to a "Hit and Run" vehicle vs pedestrian accident on Seaside Road near Folly Grocery on St. Helena.
Upon arrival the victim, a 24 year old male, was only able to say a vehicle struck him while he was walking on Seaside Road. He advised the vehicle may have been a Chevrolet truck.
South Carolina Highway Patrol responded and assumed the investigation. The condition of the victim is unknown at this time.
