The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating a Strong Armed Robbery that occurred at the Island Plaza on St. Helena Island at approximately 6:10 P.M. this evening.
The suspect is described as a black male with an average build, wearing a grey shirt, khaki shorts and an orange hat. The suspect forcibly stole an undetermined amount of cash from the victim while at the incident location. There were no injuries reported.
