Hide your stuff, Lock your car, and take your things. We have had a increase in Burglary of Vehicles in Red Oak.

There has been a recent increase in Burglary of Vehicles in some of our neighborhoods and the Red Oak Police Department has identified and subsequently arrested several of the offenders, with the assistance of surrounding agencies. In every case the suspects entered unlocked and unsecure vehicles leaving the locked vehicles alone and without damage. Please do your part and follow these simple safety tips to prevent motor vehicle burglaries and thefts.
It doesn't matter what kind of car you drive, all vehicles are a potential target of theft. Nearly 65,000 cars and trucks are stolen in the state of Texas each year, and thousands more are burglarized. Almost half of all vehicles stolen had the keys left inside.
