Death Investigation- Adelanto Police Find Unknown Deceased Victim in a Home Following a Fire

LOCATION:11500 block of Villa Street, Adelanto
VICTIM(S): John Doe
SUMMARY:
On Monday, July 21, 2014 at approximately 2:25 a.m., deputies from the Adelanto Police Department and fire personnel from the San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to a residence in the 11500 block of Villa Street in Adelanto, following the report of a fire. When the fire was extinguished, fire personnel entered the home and located a deceased victim.
Investigators from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Detail and Sheriff’s Bomb and Arson were requested and have responded to the location to conduct a death investigation. The identity of the victim is not known at this time. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death and the identity of the victim.
