The Spotswood Police Department and the entire emergency service community invites all residents to join together tonight in taking a stand against violence and paying tribute to fallen Jersey City Police Officer, Detective Melvin Santiago. "Lights on for Officer Santiago" will take place throughout the entire state starting at 8:30 pm. Please join us in turning on your porch light to honor this officer who made the ultimate sacrifice. Please keep the members of the law enforcement community and Officer Santiago's family in your thoughts and prayers.
