Monticello Fire Update 
Evacuation lifted for residents on Hwy 128 from County Road 87 to Positas Road. Campgrounds along 128 remain closed. Evacuation shelter has been closed. Information from Cal Fire website: http://cdfdata.fire.ca.gov/incidents/incidents_current
Approximately 7,000 acres have been burned. The fire is 30% contained.
Yolo County Sheriff’s Department continues to work with Cal Fire, PG&E and Red Cross in our efforts to get residents back into their homes as quickly and safely as possible.
