The Saugerties Police would like to remind citizens of upcoming events to be held in the Saugerties Area;

1. July 4,, 2014. Parade held in the Village of Saugerties. Parade steps off at 11:00am. Expect heavy vehicle and pedestrian traffic along the parade route. Use alternate routes if not attending. At dusk a fireworks display will commence at Cantine Memorial Complex. Heavy traffic congestion will be greatest between hours of 07:00pm and midnight. Please be aware of all traffic in and around the complex.

2. July 5. 2014. First Friday being held on Saturday July 5.2014 due to holiday. Traffic congestion in the business district use alternate routes.

3. July 6. 2014. The Sawyer Motors Car Show held in the Village of Saugerties. Expect road closures and heavy vehicle and pedestrian traffic on Main St. from W. Bridge to Washington Ave. Continued on Partition from Lafayette St. to Russell St. The event will be from 12:00pm to 07:00pm. No vehicles will be allowed in the areas listed above please plan accordingly.

4. July 10,2014 though July 14. 2014. The Hudson Valley Project music festival held at Winston Farm Heavy congestion is expected in the Sate Route 212 Route 32 corridor surrounding the site. More alerts will be posted as event draws near.
