The Adams Lane extension, traveling westbound from Route 1 to Cozzens Lane and Route 27 is now open. This new bypass road is expected to significantly improve cross-town travel and alleviate traffic in the Arlington Avenue neighborhood. Motorists should still be aware of on-going construction at the Route 1 intersection for several more weeks.
