The Norton Shores Police Department responded to several larceny from vehicle reports over the weekend. All thefts occurred during the night and in the southern portion of Norton Shores; specifically in the Windflower Bay Neighborhood near Pontaluna Rd and Martin Rd and in the 5600 block of Westwood Drive. All of the vehicles entered were unlocked and several were in open garages. Items stolen included wallets, cash, and electronics.
NSPD encourages residents to remove valuables from their vehicles, close the windows, and lock the doors. Please remove all valuables from the vehicle or make sure they are out of sight. See the attached form for tips on not becoming a victim of larceny from vehicles.
