UPDATE Possible explosive device
UPDATE Possible explosive device 
An individual found an apparent mortar shell and brought it to police headquarters for destruction. The New Jersey State Police Bomb Squad responded to Police Headquarters secured the shell and removed it. It is still unclear if the shell was live or not.
At this time all buildings within the municipal complex are open for business.
