The North Aurora Police Department would like to remind the public that Oak St. is closed due to construction between White Oak Dr. and Hidden Creek Ln.

Access to Oak St. at Orchard Rd. is limited to traffic going to Windstone, Oak Hill and Waterford Oaks subdivision).  We recommend that traffic with a destination in the Waterford Oaks or Orchard Crossing subdivision access White Oak Dr. from the north off of Orchard Rd.

Non-local traffic attempting to get through Oak St. & White Oak Dr. may be ticketed.

Detours:

• For eastbound Oak -- Use Orchard Rd. north to Randall Rd. south or Orchard Rd. south to Orchard Gateway Blvd east to Randall Rd. north.
• For westbound Oak -- Use Randall Rd. north to Orchard Rd. west/south or Randall Rd. south to Orchard Gateway Blvd west to Orchard Rd. north.

For the safety of construction workers and children and adults in the neighborhoods, no matter your destination, please reduce your speed around the construction zone and detours and obey all traffic control devices.
