A four month joint investigation by Moorestown Detectives and the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office Financial Crimes Unit has resulted in the arrest on 6/11/14 of Michele D. Wonderlin, unit block of New Rd., Tabernacle, NJ, age 42. Wonderlin was a book keeper for two local law firms from which it's alleged that she stole a total of $132,281.00 between 2008-2013. Wonderlin used the stolen funds to pay her personal bills including payments to Walmart, Staples, Dicks Sporting Goods, Verizon, and Comcast. Wonderlin was charged with Theft by Deception, Misappropriation of Entrusted Property, and Computer Criminal Activity. Wonderlin's bail was modified at her first appearance in court today to $40,000 with 10% permissible.
