Synopsis: A Korean female parked her vehicle at her apartment in the west alley of 4000 Illinois Street. A male and female drove up to the victim. The male got out of the vehicle. The male asked the victim for directions. The male then demanded the victim's purse. The victim ran away and the male shot once at the victim stirking her in the shoulder. The male jumped back in the vehicle with the female and they fled the scene northbound through the alley. The male was described as a Hispanic male,in his 40's, heavy build, clean shaven, dark brown hair and was wearing a white tee shirt. The female was described as a White female in her 40's. No other description. The vehicle was described as a White mid size SUV. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non life threatening injuries. Mid-City Division is investigating.
