Police Activity this afternoon in the Monroe / Helmetta / Spotswood area due to attempted robbery in Monroe 
The Monroe Police Department has provided the following information related to an incident that occurred in the Township of Monroe this afternoon:
The Monroe Township are investigating the Attempted Robbery of a resident in the Outcalt Section of the Township that occurred today at 12:20pm.
The suspect is described as a White or Hispanic Male, wearing blue jeans, a red T-shirt and a red baseball hat. The suspect may have dreadlocks.
The suspect fled the area on foot and was last seen in the area of Main Street, Helmetta. If anyone has any information, please contact the Monroe Twp. Police Dept. at 732-521-0222.
