The police department will be assisting the Bergenfield Fire Dept during a train derailment drill today, June 8, 2014, at 10 am. The exercise will take place in the area of W. Central Ave and W. Church St. This is just an exercise, it is NOT an true emergency. Be prepared to see emergency personnel and equipment in the area. Please do not contact the police communications in regards to this drill to allow for actual emergency calls to be handled. Drill expected to conclude at 12 noon.
