Nature of Incident: Juvenile escapes from Probation Camp
Location: 400 Block Encinal Canyon, Unincorporated Malibu
Narrative:
At 9:00 pm this evening, the juvenile escapee from the Probation Camp was taken into custody by deputy personnel from Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station.
Both juveniles that escaped today are now in custody. There are no outstanding subjects.

Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's personnel assisted the Los Angeles County Probation Department with an extensive search for a juvenile that escaped from the Probation Department in the Encinal Canyon area of Unincorporated Malibu.
LASD deployed air, ground and canine resources in the search for the juvenile. The search was suspended at about 6:15 pm. The search indicates that the juvenile more than likely received a ride from the area.

Malibu/Lost Hills personnel are in the Encinal Canyon area of Unincorporated Malibu, assisting the Los Angeles County Probation Department in the search for two escaped juveniles. One of the juveniles was apprehended approximately one hour ago. The search continues for the second subject.
The subject is described as a male black, seventeen years of age, 5'11", 155 pounds, last seen wearing a gray shirt and green pants.
LASD air and canine resources have been deployed in the search, as well as Malibu/Lost Hills Search and Rescue members.
