Sachse Police announce an arrest in the Habitation Burglary that occurred in the 5900 Block of Crestberry Ln.
Officers and Investigators have been pursuing this case since it was reported. A nearby Neighborhood Video Partner as well as the victim and other concerned citizens have contributed to the positive outcome in this investigation.
Sachse Police Chief Veach credits a citizen who lives in the area of the crime with being a member of the Sachse Neighborhood Video Partnership and being able to provide images of the suspect in the near vicinity of the crime. While police and others were suspicious of a specific individual, the video images provided by the Video Partner confirmed those suspicions.
Today, Investigators and officers served a search warrant at a residence in Sachse and much of the stolen property from the burglary was recovered.
Late this afternoon Investigators were able to take the suspect into custody for the Burglary and Thefts.
