Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male White adult which occurred Thursday, May 29, 2014 at about 11:38 P.M. in the 1700 block of Sierra View Avenue, Lancaster.

Detectives have learned that the victim was sitting in a vehicle parked along the curb when two male Blacks approached the victim’s vehicle on foot. One suspect fired at the victim.

The victim sped away in his vehicle and veered to the left and crashed into a cinder block wall.

The suspects fled on foot in an unknown direction. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
