**UPDATE-Through investigative efforts the Buncombe County Sheriff's Office has located Anna Schmitt. Anna is safe and in good conditionon.**
Buncombe County— A photo of Anna Schmitt, the missing juvenile from the Fairview area is attached. Anna is still missing, and the Buncombe County’s Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in locating her. Anna Schmitt, DOB 12-27-2001, of 73 Chestnut Forrest Road in Fairview, was reported missing at 9:14 pm last night; she was last seen on the school bus. Anna has olive skin, black hair; she is 4’6” and 80lbs. Anna was wearing a black and gray jacket, dark pants, pink shoes and had a pink backpack with her. Deputies are concerned for Anna’s well-being after possibly being out in the elements overnight.
