MURDER SUSPECT- Considered armed and extremely dangerous 
On Sunday May 18, 2014 at approximately 6:57pm Henderson County Communications received a report of a stabbing on Courtney Lee Lane in the East Flat Rock area. Upon arrival officers found Michael Rondell Brown age 36 of 201 North Clear Creek in Hendersonville, NC deceased at the scene. The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Unit with assistance from the SBI responded and began an investigation. Officers worked through the night to identify the suspect. The suspect, James Benjamin Charles is a W/M, age 46 of 35 Courtney Lee Lane, East Flat Rock, NC. Charles fled the scene in a silver 2002 Nissan Xterra and is considered armed and extremely dangerous. Officers located the suspect vehicle early this morning off of East Pace Street in Hendersonville. The suspect remains at large and the investigation continues. .
