JOINT BASE MCGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST, N.J. - The base will conduct artillery and mortar firing training May 16-18, 2014. Firing is scheduled to cease at 11 p.m. each day. As a result of this important training, some residents may hear more noise than usual coming from our ranges and may experience possible ground shaking. It is important to note that noise from the ranges may travel farther during overcast weather conditions.
