Public Advisory of an Apple iPhone theft! 
On May 12, 2014 at about 5:30 P.M., a female was texting on her Apple iPhone in front of Safeway at Rivermark Plaza. A male approached the female and slapped her on the face. The male then grabbed the female’s iPhone and fled the area. The female’s stolen iPhone was recovered in a nearby trash bin. The suspect is described as a white male, mid 20s, and was wearing dark clothing.
Cell phone robberies, especially Apple iPhones have been the target of thieves in the Bay Area. The phones are predominately being taken from the hands of their owners while being used. It is very important to be aware of your surroundings when using your phone.
