AVOID 13mile between Drake & Orchard Lake, & Farmington from 12 to 14mile from 2pm - 8pm, due to Parade/heavy traffic. Some roads will be closed as Farmington Hills welcomes American Idol finalist Jena Irene Asciutto for her official hometown visit today. Festivities will include a parade starting at 2:30pm that will run down 13mile road, starting at Chesterbrook (halfway between Orchard Lake & Farmington). The short parade will end up in the parking lot at North Farmington High School. There will be a free concert with open seating at 3:30pm at the North Farmington High School stadium. Parking will be limited, please arrive early. No backpacks or chairs will be allowed in the stadium.
