News Release: Pedestrian Hit & Run MVA

May 8th, 2014

On Wednesday May 7th, 2014 at approximately 2219 hrs Lindenwold Police were dispatched to a Pedestrian Hit & Run Motor Vehicle Accident on the White Horse Pike (Rt30) by Oak Avenue. On arrival Officers found a Hispanic male lying in the west bound center lane. The victim was unconscious with head and lower extremity injuries; due to the severity of his injuries he was taken by helicopter to Cooper Hospital for treatment. Evidence at the scene indicated he had been attempting to cross the Pike when he was struck by a west bound vehicle. Vehicle debris collected at the scene indicates the vehicle was a late 1990’s Honda and should have damage to the right front end and right side mirror. At last report the Victim is listed in critical condition.
