Police find and arrest Kenneth Moto
Anchorage police have arrested 39-year-old Kenneth Moto. Early this morning, a K9 officer was conducting a search for a separate incident and found Moto in a shed on the 2400 block of Barrow Street. Moto was arrested just after 4:00 a.m. this morning without incident and was remanded to the Anchorage Jail.
Kenneth Moto was wanted on charges of Manslaughter, Assault in the First Degree and Assault in the Fourth Degree in connection to an assault that occurred on Saturday, April 19, 2014 ultimately resulting in the death of 36-year-old Daniel Stewart.
Police would like to thank the community for their assistance in this case, and helping with the spread of information as police have been trying to take Moto into custody.
