AVOID Rt 25 & Rt. 56 from 1-4pm Today. N/B Rt. 25 closed at Rt. 56 for Batavia's Loyalty Day parade 
The North Aurora Police Department would like to inform you that northbound Rt. 25 (River Rd.) will be closed to vehicle traffic at Rt. 56 (Butterfield Rd.) on today from 1pm to 4pm due to the City of Batavia Loyalty Day Parade.
In addition, the Wilson St. bridge in Batavia will be closed for this event and motorists have been advised to use the Fabyan Pkwy. bridge on the north and the State St. bridge in North Aurora on the south as detours.
We recommend you find an alternate route through or around this area as we expect increased congestion due to the road closure and detours.
