Warrant Arrest – Felony Location: Toledo Avenue and Kiely Boulevard
Officers were on routine patrol when they spotted a suspicious vehicle, occupied by one female and one male, near Toledo Avenue at Kiely Boulevard. A Records search revealed both of the vehicle’s occupants had warrants for their arrest. They were arrested and transported to the County jail.

Burglary Location: 2800 Block of El Camino Real
An unknown suspect drilled out the lock to the front door of a business on the 2800 block of El Camino Real. Once inside, the suspect broke a glass display case and removed some of its contents. The suspect remains at large.

Burglary Location: 2300 Block of El Camino Real
The suspect drilled out the lock to the front door of a business on the 2300 block of El Camino Real. The suspect then opened up several cabinets and removed items from within. The suspect was not apprehended.

Warrant Arrest Location: Monroe Street and Scott Boulevard
An officer entered into a consensual conversation with the male suspect outside the 7-11 store at Scott Boulevard and Monroe Street. While speaking to the suspect, he mentioned he had a warrant. A Records check confirmed a $7000 misdemeanor warrant. He was arrested and booked into County jail.

Grand Theft Location: 3000 Block of El Camino Real
An officer was dispatched to the 3000 block of El Camino Real to investigate a report of a theft from a vehicle. Between 2000 and 2145 hours, an unknown suspect smashed the window of a rental vehicle and stole laptops, cash and passports from four victims. The suspect remains at large.

Driving Under the Influence Location: Civic Center Drive and Triton Court
An officer observed a male subject run a red light. The driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol. He was taken into custody and booked at the Santa Clara Police Department’s Temporary Holding Facility. He was later released on his own recognizance.

Burglary Location: 2200 Block of Francis Avenue
Officers responded to the 2200 block of Francis Avenue on the report of a burglary. Sometime during the night, an unknown suspect entered the residence through an unlocked door and stole property from a closed in patio area of the residence. In addition to property being taken, the suspect also left some property that was believed to be from a neighboring home. Follow-up revealed that a neighboring home was also burglarized during the night (Case Number 14-004547). The suspect(s) remain at large.

Driving Under the Influence Location: San Tomas Expressway and El Camino Real
Officers observed a stalled motorist on southbound San Tomas Expressway at El Camino Real. The female driver had run out of gas. There was a one year old in the car. The suspect was on probation and had a suspended driver's license. She displayed objective symptoms of alcohol intoxication. She was arrested for driving under the influence, driving on a suspended license and child endangerment. She was arrested and transported to County jail.
