Due to the annual Revolutionary Run in the park, the park's main entrance at the intersection of Route 23 and North Gulph Rd., Varnum's Parking Lot, and all park internal roadways (see below) will be closed the morning of Sunday, April 27 until 11 AM. Visitors are encouraged to visit other park attractions prior to stopping in the Visitor Center, such as Washington's Headquarters or the Washington Memorial Chapel.
Road closures include:
-Entrance to Valley Forge National Historical Park at the intersection of Route 23 and N. Gulph Rd.
-Varnum's Parking Lot
-Gulph Rd from Thomas Rd to Route 23.
-County Line Road from the Lower Parking Lot to Gulph Rd.
-N. and S. Outer Line Drives
-All of Inner Line Drives
Routes 23 and 252 will remain open with access to the Washington Memorial Chapel and Washington's Headquarters.
