Drop Off Your Unwanted Prescription Pills at Two HCSO Locations This Saturday

(HOUSTON, TX) – The HCSO will accept unwanted prescription medications at two of its storefronts on Saturday, April 26 as part of the Drug Enforcement Administration's (DEA) National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.

The two HCSO locations are:
HCSO Aldine Storefront
5202 Aldine Mail Route
Houston, TX 77039

HCSO Mission Bend Storefront
7043 Highway 6 South
Houston, TX 77083

National Prescription Drug Take Back Day gives the public the opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, or unwanted prescription drugs.

Collection sites will be open Saturday, April 26, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.

Please note that the HCSO's Aldine Storefront is a permanent prescription drug drop-off location. It is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
