April 19, 2014 Personal Injury Crash 
SUBJECT OF RELEASE: Personal Injury Crash
DATE AND TIME: Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 11:03 p.m.
LOCATION: Howard City-Edmore Road (M-46) near Reed Road, Reynolds Township
The Montcalm County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a two car crash and determined that a 19 year old Howard City woman was leaving the Skate Estate on Howard City-Edmore Road driving a 2005 Ford Ranger when she pulled into the path of a 2008 Suzuki that was travelling west bound. The Suzuki was driven by a 50 year old Otsego man. After the crash the Suzuki left the road and caught fire. A fire fighter arrived shortly after the collision and was able to put the fire out. The Otsego man was transported to Kelsey Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. The 19 year old and her two fifteen year old passengers also sustained minor injuries but were not in need of medical attention.
The Lakeview Police Department, Montcalm County Emergency Medical Services, and the Howard City Fire Department assisted with the crash.
