On 04/18/2014, at approximately 5:00 PM, detectives from the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Investigation Unit arrested Amanda Rose Steffan Gilbert, 23 years old, of Rohnert Park, for suspicion of homicide related to the 2012 death of her infant child in Billings, Montana.
Gilbert, who came to the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office at approximately 10:50 AM this morning, reported that she wanted to turn herself in for her involvement in the 2012 death of her infant child. The Billings Police Department was contacted and a holding order for Gilbert was issued shortly thereafter.
Gilbert was taken to the Sonoma County Main Adult Detention Facility where she was booked on a Yellowstone County, Montana holding order for Suspicion of Homicide. Gilbert has No-Bail due to a pending out of state arrest warrant.
