Two Heroin Overdoses
Two Heroin Overdoses
Janesville Police responded to two heroin overdoses on April 16. The overdoses came within two hours of one another. The two subjects who overdosed survived, however this leads us to believe there may be a stronger batch of heroin being distributed in our community than what the users are used to.
You cannot tell the potency of heroin by just looking at it so there is a grave risk anytime someone ingests it. Users of heroin need to know the heroin they are injecting may be deadly and we are encouraging them to seek treatment at any of the addiction counseling agencies.
