K9 Axo finds more than 1lb of meth during traffic stop; married couple arrested. #OKK9
(Oklahoma City) April 15, 2014 around 4:40pm an Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office deputy saw a driver of a vehicle fail to signal when changing lanes at NW 63rd & N. May Avenue. The deputy stopped the vehicle and spoke with the driver, Eugene Robert Snyder (d.o.b. 06/11/1962), and the passenger Kira Leigh Snyder (d.o.b. 02/01/1982).
While speaking with the Snyder's, Kira who owned the vehicle, consented to a search of the vehicle. The deputy then had K9 Axo walk around the vehicle and the dog alerted his handler that there were drugs. The deputy then searched the vehicle and found a 1 1/2 lbs of methamphetamine inside.
Eugene Snyder, and Kira Snyder were booked into the Oklahoma County jail on complaints of trafficking illegal drugs, and possession of drug proceeds.
Nice work by K9 Axo and his handler.
