HOMELESS VICTIM ASSUALTED BY EGG THROWING TEENS

A patrolling Lancaster Sergeant witnessed a male teenager assault an elder female while she was sitting on the sidewalk. The teen was seen forcefully throwing an uncooked egg directly at the victim while she was praying. The victim was struck directly on her torso and she complained of pain. The subject and two other male teenagers in a nearby vehicle were all detained. The victim did not need further medical treatment.
All three subjects were detained and booked for Felony Assault and Conspiracy. They were all held on No Bail and were transported to Sylmar Detention Facility for housing. Additional video evidence and items gathered in the subject’s vehicle during the investigation leads deputies to believe other prior incidents had occurred.
