Deputies called to an assault with a deadly weapon which caused one death and one injury. 
On Sunday, April 12, 2014, deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department responded to the 8900 block of Foothill Blvd, regarding an assault with a deadly weapon call. Upon arriving at the location, deputies located to male victims who appeared to have been injured. Medical personnel responded to the scene and both victims were transported to local hospitals. Donnie Reed (39 YOA) was pronounced deceased at the hospital and the other victim has been listed in stable condition. Both victims were residents of Rancho Cucamonga.
Detectives from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, Homicide Detail, responded to assist with the investigation. Due to an ongoing investigation, details surrounding the incident are not being released at this time. Further details will be released at a later date.
