Officers honored for DUI Arrests. Simi Valley Officer has most DUI arrests in 2013.

Simi Valley Police Officers Corey Baker, Kenny Brzezinski, and Jessica Cano were recognized by Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) in a ceremony today for their commitment to public safety by arresting numerous impaired drivers. Of special note, Officer Cory Baker was commended for making the most DUI arrests in Ventura County the previous year. To be eligible for the award, an officer must have made at least 15 DUI arrests over the one year period in 2013. Officer Corey Baker made 74 DUI arrests, Officer Jessica Cano made 31 arrests, and Officer Kenny Brzezinski made 38 arrests.

The California Office of Traffic Safety, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, and the Ventura County AVOID Campaign recognized many other Ventura County officers who have made our local roadways safer by arresting impaired drivers in our area. This event was held today April 10, 2014 at the Ventura Marriott Hotel. Police Chiefs and high-ranking officers from local police departments, the California Highway Patrol, and the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office were present.
