A forest fire in Wharton State Forest located in southern NJ has lead to "smell of smoke" reports throughout areas of northern NJ and NY. Please check the exterior area before calling 911. If you see smoke or fire, if the smell persists, or if the smell of smoke becomes stronger, please call and we will investigate.
