SUSPECT: 20 year-old Che Cruz (local transient)

NARRATIVE:

On Thursday, April 4, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies from Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station responded near the vicinity of the 5100 block of Garrett Court, Calabasas, regarding a “Suspicious Person” call for service. Deputies located the suspicious person and detained him.

During the investigation deputies discovered that 20 year-old Che Cruz had been arrested near the location on March 30, 2014 for Burglary, when he forced entry into the guest house located on the property.

Further investigation revealed Cruz was in violation of a protective order that was issued on April 2, 2014, mandating he stay 150 yards from that particular residence.

Che Cruz was arrested and booked at Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station for Violation of a Court Order, 166.4 P.C. and is being held in lieu of $20,000 bail.
