Narrative:
Ventura County Sheriff and Simi Valley Police Narcotics Detectives concluded a joint narcotics investigation with the arrest of a Mission Hills resident who was selling illegal drugs to customers in Los Angeles and East Ventura counties.
On 4/2/2014, Deputies with the Thousand Oaks Police Bike Patrol assisted Narcotic Detectives by stopping and detaining Victoria Dyer as she was driving in the North Hills area of Los Angeles. Deputies located several ounces of methamphetamine and heroin inside Dyer’s vehicle.
Narcotic Detectives conducted a search of Dyer’s Mission Hills residence and located a large quantity of methamphetamine and a small quantity of cocaine and heroin inside the residence. Detectives also found two handguns and a ballistic vest.
As a result of this investigation, a total of 1-1/2 pounds of methamphetamine, 34 grams of heroin and 3 grams of cocaine, two handguns and a ballistic vest were seized from Dyer.
Dyer was arrested for two counts of possession for sales of a controlled substance. Due to a prior felony conviction, Dyer was also arrested for felon in possession of a firearm and felon in possession of a ballistic vest. She was booked into the Ventura County Jail and is scheduled to appear in court on 4/4/2014, at 1:30 p.m. Her bail was set at $70,000.00
