Detectives with the Lancaster Robbery Suppression Team arrested 4 suspects and one subject related to a string of robberies which occurred over the previous two weeks. Three separate incidents were being investigated which involved Wal-Mart, Vons, and Ralphs stores. The suspects entered these locations with the intent to shop-lift various merchandise and exited the businesses. On two occasions, they were confronted by store employees and the suspects sprayed the employees with pepper spray to aid in their escape.
Detectives identified the suspects through investigative techniques and served a search warrant at a home located on the 3800 Block of Balmont St. They arrested suspects Gregory Terrell, Eric Bragg, and Geremy Scott. Later, the detectives arrested a 16 year-old male subject while he was attending class at Desert Winds High School. The detectives then arrested suspect Garrett Floyd when they returned to the original Balmont location.
The four suspects and one subject were booked at the Lancaster Station Jail for Robbery. Suspects Terrell and Bragg were held on $100,000 bail, while suspects Scott and Floyd were held on $50,000 bail. The juvenile was cited and released to a guardian.
